Dr. Schulze was born and raised in Buffalo New York. She graduated from Boston University with a major in Biology and completed 2 years of medical school at the Universidad de Monterrey. She finished her medical degree at The University of Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine.
She married and moved to Texas to do an internship in Pediatrics at Driscoll Children’s Hospital in Corpus Christi. Dr Schulze completed her pediatric residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and completed a year of fellowship training in Ambulatory Pediatrics at UTMB. She has been board certified in Pediatrics since 1990.
In 1991 Dr Schulze moved to Corpus Christi with her husband John, who is a family physician and began private practice at ABC Pediatrics. Ten years ago, she began to have a particular interest in treating patients with eating disorders and has followed the research in this field closely. During this time, she has successfully managed many patients with eating disorders with the help of a great outpatient team.
I am excited to work with the team of professionals at Esperanza to offer patients the very best treatment possible for mind, body and spirit. Treating patients with the best medical care and compassion is my goal in helping to allow these patients to live healthy and happy lives moving forward.
