Alejandra Garza, MS, LPC

Alejandra Garza works with adult patients in the PHP, IOP and EO programs at Esperanza. She is an individual therapist, facilitates groups, and supports patients as they plate and eat therapeutic meals.

Alejandra graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with bachelor’s degrees in psychology and a sociology and an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of Texas at San Antonio. Alejandra has experience working with psychological trauma with the domestic violence population.

Alejandra utilizes person-centered, feminist approach, existential, DBT and CBT modalities. She is a trained Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist. She hopes to create an environment of trust and understanding in session and go alongside patients in their therapeutic journey.
