Rebecca “Becca” Moran, LPC-A
Supervised by Elizabeth Bright, LPC-S
Becca works primarily with our adolescents. She facilitates groups and is an individual therapist.
She earned her BA in Psychology and Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology from the University of Incarnate Word. Followed by her MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Becca gained her experience working with adolescents beginning at Clarity Child Guidance Center and then with adults at UIW Behavioral Health Services. Her enthusiasm to work with the eating disorder population was ignited during her internship that followed at Esperanza.
I’ve always had a desire to work with children and adolescents, and when I found something that could allow me to do that while connecting back to my passion of helping athletes through psychoeducation, I knew I found my passion. Eating disorders in the athletic world are something I aspire to bring more awareness to while teaching coaches how to help struggling athletes.
