Dani Gonzales, Psy.D. is a licensed psychologist and the Clinical Director of the Eating Disorders Program at the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California, where she also serves as Associate Director of Specialty Tracks in the Department of Psychiatry. She oversees the Eating and Body Image Concerns Program (MEBIC), providing evidence-based care for individuals with complex eating disorders.

Dr. Gonzales earned her Psy.D. from the California School of Professional Psychology in San Diego and completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at the UC San Diego School of Medicine, specializing in the treatment and research of eating disorders. Dani Gonzales also completed an APPIC internship at EDCASA, San Antonio Texas. She is credentialed by the National Register of Health Service Psychologists and is licensed to practice in both California and Texas.

In addition to her academic and clinical roles, Dr. Gonzales is a supervising psychologist at Esperanza Treatment Center in San Antonio, Texas, and maintains a small private practice in Southern California, offering Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for young adults and their families. She also has advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Family-Based Therapy.

Dr. Gonzales is the founder of the Higher Education Eating Disorder Association (HEEDA) and is a frequent presenter at national and international conferences on eating disorders, student mental health, and substance use. She has been recognized with early career grants from the International Conference on Eating Disorders (ICED) and the Society for Personality Assessment. Dr Gonzales is also a professional member of APA, American Indian Psychologists, and IAEDP.
